  1. msmichel's rating of the film Boys Town

Oscar winner for script and best actor (Spencer Tracy) in '38 stands the test of time pretty well. The story of Father Flanagan is an inspirational one and even the over-acting of a young Mickey Rooney can't stop this from being effective and moving.

  2. SpacePirate's rating of the film Boys Town

A touching grab at the heartstrings film starring the great Tracy. The film reminds of Dead End with a religious element. Rooney pretty much overacts throughout the entire film though and generally louses up the proceedings, which is odd because hes usually flawless. Kept it from being classic status for me. As it is, just 3 stars

  3. Aardsy's rating of the film Boys Town

Little boy election drama!! And tiny boxing!
