Interesting documentary on who for me is the most important filmmaker of all time. No other filmmaker has created such a vast, diverse and impressive catalogue of work whilst having such a strong impact. His works made me re-evaluate how I see, and what the eye is capable of. His works provide such beauty in abstraction. I hope I can experience some of his works being screened on film one day.
One of the greatest and most unique artists to have not only remove celluloid out of solely the visual world, but in to more textural and beautiful experience that almost constantly remind you of the act of seeing. Too bad a genius like that has to have such a crummy documentary about his art!
