BRAND: A Second Coming follows comedian/author/activist Russell Brand as he dives headlong into drugs, sex & fame in an attempt to find happiness, only to realize that our culture feeds us bad ideas & empty idols.

'The Emperor's New Clothes' is a far more impressive doc about Brand's anarcho-collectivist mindset. This is just a hatchet job which plays like a trumped up salacious 'heat!' magazine article. Brand was right not to endorse it.
This film has its moments despite feeling around 30 minutes too long and a bit redundant by the end. Regardless of what you think about Russell Brand, the guy has had a pretty interesting life. The messiah complex stuff doesn't sit too well for me but I have to give the man credit for trying to stir things up in the mainstream media. However, it's a bit difficult to take advice on revolution from a multi-millionaire.
