Ratings & Reviews

  1. Nick Schwab's rating of the film Bullet Ballet

The badly sustained plot and indifferent character approximation make its emotion cold until the final scene. It has the problems that bad droney, experimental films contain, and that, comic-book trash films flounder in. They both don't feel as coming from the heart and mind of someone wanting to truly connect with humanity. They're the geek in the corner dorking about the trivial details of a film they've seen.

  2. Superfrog's rating of the film Bullet Ballet

Graphically interesting, it is an interesting form of cinematic expression of frustration and obsession at the start. It then feels like it looses itself and makes excuses for its continued existence. Would have been a better short.

  3. FISCHER's rating of the film Bullet Ballet

  12. José Neves's rating of the film Bullet Ballet

The difference between scribes and recyclers lies in the fact that the former are limited to accumulate the signs of their influence, while the second transmute a personal speech endowing them with another form. Tsukamoto builds a fudge presentation of the worse a copyist can reveal: the chaotic accumulation without an own will, just a mere demonstrability of a know-how that doesn't know.

  13. Lauri Niemelä's rating of the film Bullet Ballet

The first half was actually excellent, then it tried to be Chungking Express. Or imitated too many other films at the same time.

  14. David Grillo's rating of the film Bullet Ballet

A man's honor spills out into the street. A young street gang admits to being alive and pretends to fear death both the city and the gun are an extension of Mankind's disembodiment. Man does not belong to this world he is a machine.
