In this wacky parody of the Bulldog Drummond private eye series of the 1930s, Alan Shearman stars as the titular World War I hero who vies for the affections of pretty Rosemary while battling the German count who desires a secret held by Rosemary.

A very silly and very funny British comedy from the Golden Days of Handmade Films. A large portion of the Handmade output has been forgotten today, which is a shame because they are all absolute gems like this. I especially enjoyed Alan Shearman's performance as Bullshot and how cartoonishly exaggerated his body language and facial expressions were. This is one that is waiting to be rediscovered.
