It is a traditional story of a journey of discovery, except one of them is dead. It becomes a bit dull, and only the moments of comedy that happen between those two characters, which we are eager to see make it up a bit for their journey of life and death. The ending of the funeral it's a highlight and I wonder why we wait so much to see it. The beginning seems a bit off from the tone of the film. It's flaky.
Doc Lisboa 2016: Grand Prix City of Lisbon for International Competition's best film. It's not exactly a "pure" documentary and it's not devoid of documentary substantiation, as would be expected. I mean, it's a perfect example of a movie made for film festivals, these non-places promoters of curators' egos and movies without any other distinction than their indistinction: non-films or quasi-movies. So, a just prize.
