As a fan of Carlyle and music, I had high hopes for this film, even if it was one of several at the festival exploring the "aging entertainer estranged from family" trope. It was an OK character study and Carlyle is the best in it, but it suffered from the common indie film malady of ending abruptly and inconclusively. Amused to see Michael DesBarres as Carlyle's band's ex-manager.
