  • ramosbarajas's rating of the film Camelia

Of the five films he made with María Félix, all have been disappointing. In general, but that's also the case here, his stories are confusing. The editing skips ahead without proper development and leaves out details so that the characters appear infantile or at lest suffering from the strongest cases of amour fou. The photography is masterful, however. The close ups of Félix are beautiful gifts from Figueroa.
