I thought that Carriers was an affective vision of the world in a post-apocalyptic sense, and presents a new take on the zombie movie genre that feels a tad more natural and realistic. I enjoyed the cast's performances here and the pacing of the story unfolds nicely. While tragic and unpredictable at the same time, I definitely feel like the movie falls nicely in the places it should and is for sure worth the watch.
It could've been worse. One of the most glaring problems though is that the biggest emotional impact comes at the 30 minute mark so from that point on the entire thing feels hollow in comparison. I don't care for Piper Perabo or Lou Taylor Pucci and they did nothing to redeem themselves here. Chris Pine and Christopher Meloni were solidly watchable though.
