Another short that is served like a teaser into Wes Andersen world. Here, he does not bother to go into the depths of narrative. He creates the scenario, where he displays the character, in big style, flamboyant, both grand and fragile. This world where we imagine great fables could be told, if only there was time. These shorts are interesting. They are short in deed, but Andersen does not rush, they feel spacious.
Another fun Prada short from Wes Anderson leaving the love trio of the first entry behind and concentrating on failed race car driver Cavalcanti well portrayed here by Jason Schwartzman. More than just an advertisement for a fashion giant but a mini time capsule for an era lost. The cinematography by Darius Khondji is pristine.
