  1. kartina obskura's rating of the film Changes in the Village

3,5 (i would like a possibility to see elephants when i walk along the beach) through changes, what is constant is seen

  2. Karl J. Kipling's rating of the film Changes in the Village

3.5. I'd like to be able to claim I'm enthusiastic about Peries, to agree that he is, as they say, a Sri Lankan Satyajit Ray. Now I've seen his two most acclaimed early films, and they're fine - rough, but with a lyrical pastoral charm to them. Compare, however, to two of Ray's best made around the same time, Pather Panchali and Charulata, and... no, Mr. Peries, nice as he is, isn't playing at nearly the same level.

  3. Yuki Aditya's rating of the film Changes in the Village

people couldnt pick whose family they want to be born in. People change, situation change, their economic condition change, and still humans are the ones who r responsible for their faults. Hidden gem indeed.

  4. InsertOzuReferencehere's rating of the film Changes in the Village

People change, situations change and places change ... and there's nothing we can do about it. What a masterpiece this is!
