    Une façon intéressante de narrer

  3. Adrian Sim's rating of the film Chunhyang

I've long wanted to catch this, but feared it may be too arty and inaccessible. Finally I got down to it and I must say this adaptation of a famous Korean folklore is audience-friendly and narrated by songs set to the spellbinding songs and rhythms of the pansori (which may not be everyone's cup of tea). I'm gonna check out the story's setting in Namwon's Gwanghallu Pavilion foshizz!

  4. Howard Fritzson's rating of the film Chunhyang

I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. There is a storyteller who talk-sings the tale while you watch it, in a growling voice. The characters are passionate and tender and even funny, especially the mother. It is also visually beautiful.
