A ticking-clock thriller following Winston Churchill in the 24 hours before D-Day.
A storyline of a broken and useless Churchill, submitted to the will of American saviours. Not being an expert in World War II, this sounds to me a bit absurd.
B. Cox and M. Richardson are great as Winston and Clementine Churchill, fine work by cinematographer, but story itself lacks dramatic tension and often flops to become just another BBC type drama without real cinematic look.
Only John Lithgow is capable of being Churchill.
