Our take

When you’ve made as many movies as Spike Lee has, some can get lost in the fray amidst more reputable titles. Enter Clockers, Spike Lee’s hidden masterpiece which indelibly encompasses his many themes of community, black masculinity, family ties, and the effort to survive and change a racist world.
