  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Crisis

Intéressant, mais pas transcendant ! www.cinefiches.com

  2. SpacePirate's rating of the film Crisis

Solid political drama that at times feels a bit Hitchcockian. Perhaps having Grant in the lead helps this, given their frequent collabs. The lead actress, Raymond, I was totally unfamiliar with. What a surprise. Great talent that time has seemed to have forgotten. All in all, the inner conflict Grant's character has leads to a rather gripping little film. Check it out if you get a chance. Solid Brooks effort

  3. Howard Fritzson's rating of the film Crisis

A solid film with a very good performance from Grant. He is a perfect screen actor in that he uses his eyes so expressively, projecting thought after thought. However, he only lets us inside the character's head when he needs to bring us closer.

  4. Scout Tafoya's rating of the film Crisis

This film initially poses a fairly standard ethical dilemma. Then comes one of the best rug-pulls of 50s cinema. Walking into the bar and having the plot spelled out is so wonderfully icy. The shot of Cary Grant walking alone in the town square is a brilliant realization of the film's themes. One of Brooks' best films.
