  3. El Biffo's rating of the film Crumbs

The first science fiction film from Ethiopia! After the apocalypse they are living in an abandoned bowling alley. Plastic toys and Michael Jackson vinyl LPs are sacred artifacts and they pray at a Michael Jordan shrine. A strange, beautiful film. 3.7*

  5. msmichel's rating of the film Crumbs

Noted as the first Ethiopian sci-fi film Miguel Llanso's debut feature is brimming with ideas but its surrealistic nature and obtuse script wind up working against it. The idea of pop culture items becoming icons in a post apocalyptic future is clever.

  6. Post Ironic's rating of the film Crumbs

VIFF 2015. I loved this film. Absolutely fantastic. And to think it was created with less than a quarter million dollar budget, is almost incomprehensible in this modern era, especially for a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, romance, adventure with the scope and ambition this film has. Daniel Tadesse is one to watch closely. His performance was perfect.
