  1. N!nA's rating of the film Cultures of Resistance

The film began in 2003 in wake of the Iraq war and covers many events occurred all around the world until 2009 . Lee does not focus on one place in the world. She takes the camera to more than 10 countries in conflict to show us the most peaceful and artistic expressions of resistance. The movie makes you question the degree that big powers are responsible for some certain countries’ troubles.

  2. msmichel's rating of the film Cultures of Resistance

FNC '11 More of a traveloque than documentary looking at pockets of resistance in various countries around the world in a tidbit fashion. Film lacks any real kind of focus though highlighting several important issues. Time spent making the picture seems excessive given the lack of structure, focus and result. One interesting bit is the result of the worlds largest focused demonstration back in 2003: nothing.
