Ratings & Reviews

  1. Thomas Dods's rating of the film Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner

A great, detailed look at a classic film which has a genuinely interesting story behind its making. A classic story of a studio interfering with art.

  2. Jérémy Poirier's rating of the film Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner

If you love Blade Runner, watch this film. You just have to.

  3. John Matrix's rating of the film Dangerous Days: Making Blade Runner

Poor Hampton Fancher. Thank God he got replaced though or we might not have the rain-drenched cinematic monument we all know (and some love). DANGEROUS DAYS is a good illustration of the magical chaos of studio filmmaking and a refutation of narrow-minded auteurism. If Ridley Scott was BLADE RUNNER's father, then Phil Dick was grandpa, and Fancher/Peoples the mother. Not to mention Jordan Cronenweth, Vangelis, etc.
