The only Almodovar movie I've seen that I didn't like
Oeuvre délicieusement iconoclaste, délurée au possible et d'un constant humour dévastateur, ce film "bizarre" et décapant est une vraie jubilation... www.cinefiches.com
you can see the muscle memory starting to form for later Almodovar and it's a little bit more lovable than your average low-budget 80s b-movie.
Quite boring. The notion of lesbian drug-addicted nuns sounds more fun than this film makes it out to be.
sor Estiércol hahahaha. película genial!
Almodóvar had to be so brave to do this film in 1983, near the end of the Spanish transition to democracy.
Nuns just wanna have fun!
This is so better than Sister Act.
Contains alot of transgressional delights that would wreak havoc in later Almodovar movies, but sadly doesn't completely come together. There's almost no tension to this movie what so ever!
Everything in this movie shouts Almodóvar. I like to see his older movies, sloppy, sometimes with editing mistakes. It makes him/it genuine. 4 stars.
Great ensemble comedy full of crackpot nuns whose behaviours and hypocrasies indicate they shouldn't be part of a nunnery at all. Yet here we are. Heavy on the loose plot threads and surreal non sequiturs, but it's all in service to the mood.
Monjas puestas de coca y ácido chantajenado a una marquesa para mantenerse. Awesome and super funny film. And Chus is fabolous :)
