What are people saying?

  • José Neves's rating of the film Dark Rose

35mm. Beyond good and evil, the formalism that characterized the Portuguese cinema generation of the 60s/70s found in Margarida Gil a perfect example of its virtues and obstacles. The narrative desire doesn't find a practical execution, the actors perform a theatricality sometimes obtuse, but the frames, each frame, is worthy of execution and appreciation, syncretism of a formation beyond the cinematographic one.
