Ratings & Reviews

  1. José Neves's rating of the film The Way South

The further south, the denser becomes the film, accomplice not only of the people who are filmed, as their spaces, times, light, silence and significant ways. Arriving to Egypt, the dynamic is generated in a continuously magnetism, winding by the incessant movement of people, becoming characters through a physical density and musical look, involved, engaging.

  2. εξώτερο διάστημα's rating of the film The Way South

There is a lack of sentimentality in this film, which helps it achieve it goal, solidarity and coherence, almost instantly. It's a travelogue, but it hardly suffers from any touristic etiquette, that of grabbing the difference at all cost, while stressing your own irreducible uniqueness, and of discovering the fellow human with a maudlin unexpectedness at the end of the journey, when paradise starts getting tiresome.
