The success of this entire film is contingent on it convincing me that a bunch of teenage boys could be way too into poetry. Also, I know it's supposed to be a super serious moment, but I laugh every time that kid puts on his fairy crown to shoot himself because Kurtwood Smith won't let him act in a play. It's borderline insulting to people coping with actual depression.
4.5, because neil/todd, oh my god i was in love with neil's face and i paused a lot because i couldn't handle it (both his face and the circumstances), everybody wants a teacher like mr. keating, knox knows what's up, my boys... LACK OF GIRLS is a common yell in this era but it's still a problem
