Ratings & Reviews

  1. Steve G.'s rating of the film Dead Presidents

Two very good and one reasonably good films in one. It feels undeveloped for the most part, especially during its middle Vietnam section, but it's a well performed crime / war thriller with a particularly marvellous turn by the always terrific Keith David.

  2. Malik's rating of the film Dead Presidents

There's a framework for a really compelling film here. If only we could get a talented director to remake it.

  3. Christopher M. Jones's rating of the film Dead Presidents

Structurally similar to Goodfellas but I actually liked it more-it's more engaging throughout and is, I think, incisive and angry enough to warrant some compelling discussion. I think it should be more highly regarded than it is. It certainly beats the living piss out of "Carlito's Way."

  5. Ghostman's rating of the film Dead Presidents

feels like 3 or 4 different movies in one movie, a war film, domestic drama, heist, and veteran movie. Still good though.

  6. westsider's rating of the film Dead Presidents

I love the music but overall this film is incredibly dreary and doesn't have much to say about anything.
