It's not the best or the most enlightening indie from a comedian turned filmmaker. But it's honest and often times very, very funny, especially for those who appreciate Martin's style of comedy. The supporting cast is exceptional throughout.
A bit of a mess at times, some of the jokes fall really flat and there's too much music but I thought the character turns were interesting and I really liked the last scene between the father and son. Promising debut by writer-director Demetri Martin for sure.
