Democrats scratches the surface of Zimbabwe's struggle to form a constitution. Nielsson uses a rather straight forward approach to highlight the committee process, and while I commend the effort to create a doc about ZI that doesn't rely on cliches about Robert Mugabe, the film would undoubtedly benefit from a more thorough historiographic background. I wanted the takeaway to be more than just: "politics is hard."
