Synopsis

DER HAMBURGER AUFSTAND 1923 tries to listen to the men and women who participated in the last attempt at an armed socialist revolution in Germany. The three-part “newsreel” made at the dffb portrays the class struggle as a daily experience: hunger, strike, jail, concentration camp.
