  1. José Neves's rating of the film Der letzte Schrei

As forgotten as relevant in the "new German cinema" of the 70's panorama, Ackeren represented the most determined humorous sense with a camp aesthetic, a sort of John Waters passed through Fassbinder's anti-theatrical sieve. In this film, if we not consider the masterpiece "Harlis", his acid gaze and colorful deconstruction of German society and romanticism reaches moments of an absolute uniqueness.
