Ratings & Reviews

  1. Richmond Hill's rating of the film Derek

Decent, fairly straightforward, documentary juxtaposing a videoed interview from 1990 with an intercut monologue by frequent Jarman collaborator, Swinton, musing over the director's legacy. A little too heavily biased towards the feature films over the art, but generously illustrated and thoughtfully constructed. As good an overview as you're likely to get of Jarman's work and, to a lesser extent, life.
