    There's a great, hazy, inventive sort of energy to this that unfortunately sort of fizzles by the end. Clearly a product of a limited budget and mid-80s, film school rented equipment, Bechard adds a self aware, cinephile's touch to the script that makes this a slight cut above most regional slasher fare. It's too bad that the "killer" is dispatched fairly early on and the end is more irritating than intriguing.
