Despite an uneven body of work, Dolph Lundgren has long been one of our most charismatic and watchable action stars. If you can get over the fact that his character in "Don't Kill It" is entirely unheroic and ineffectual, this is low-budget fun, full of gory setpieces with questionable practical effects and the clever hook of a demon who enters the body of whomever killed it last. Dolph looks to be having a blast.
Pretty fun ride that owes more than a few things to Ash VS Evil Dead. Lundgren is enjoyable to watch and is nicely paired with the very underrated Klebe. I wish these two actors and their characters had been in the hands of a better director and production. The tone is uneven and sways unconvincingly between serious and goofy. Still the movie works more than it fails and makes for a decent watch.
