    It's pretty rare to get a look at the Vietnamese-American war from the "enemy side," so I'm sorry to report that the only compliment I can give this film is of the backhanded variety: its heart's in the right place. There's a good true story here, but the film's obvious budget limitations and its painfully stilted English-language scenes - which take up half the film at least - pretty much sink it.
