Ratings & Reviews

  1. Dalibor's rating of the film Dracula: Dead and Loving It

Not the utter failure it is almost unanimously sentenced to be, "Dracula" nevertheless feels somewhat stiff and seems to wiggle between parodying and retelling the story, often coming across as uninspired, or even restrained. Stylistically, tho, it is far more coherent than most of directors' late work, devoid of that annoying anything-goes humor, with a couple of mild but thought-through jokes.

  2. Rita Moreira's rating of the film Dracula: Dead and Loving It

Quando era miúda este era o meu filme preferido. Vai-se lá perceber. Acho que nunca me vou cansar de ver o Peter MacNicol a comer insetos.

  3. P8l's rating of the film Dracula: Dead and Loving It

  4. Tiago Inácio's rating of the film Dracula: Dead and Loving It

"She's Nosferatu. She's Italian?" Not Mel Brooks best moment, but still quite watchable and some very funny gags. just not in the same league of his top class ones.

  5. AKFilmFan's rating of the film Dracula: Dead and Loving It

It's sad when you can count the number of times you laughed on one hand in a comedy. Even sadder is that its a comedy from the great Mel Brooks.

  6. Dana Henson's rating of the film Dracula: Dead and Loving It

I think it's pretty underrated. The cast is terrific and it has more laughs than other late period Brooks films. Not only is it funny, but it is a pretty faithful retelling of the Bram Stoker novel. It's fairly straightforward but unabashedly silly and has a great time parodying genre conventions which equals a great Brooks film for me.
