Some piano-cheesy-mellow moments but the idea of some old doubts and the reality of a part of the LGBTI community are there. A lot of dated gay-life advices and few actually personal of the five followed men. It stills has some insides and routines about the way people live the Dream Boat though, but that could have been way more explored throughout the documentary.
The cruise is shot with cinematic beauty, but the stories feel predictable and dated. To be honest, as much as I like the characters - they are all sweet and charismatic - I don't think this film is necessary. It does not add much to gay genre or doc genre, playing safe and being confortable with being close to a TV doc. The cruise is very interesting - but what happened to story hunt?
