  1. C҉ă҉t҉ă҉l҉i҉n҉'s rating of the film Dream

Kim Ki-Duk’s auteur reasoning is to a great degree determined by his obsession of tossing out ahead situations of self-deconstructive nature, which enables him to convey his recurrent personal motif: it is not the human psyche that drives our condition, but rather the unforeseen debris it attracts along the way as our long drawn trails of intrinsic specificities break through fate’s checkpoints.

  2. peaches and plums's rating of the film Dream

  3. Smirnova Olga's rating of the film Dream

Kim Ki-Duk can make silence a thing of beauty.

  4. Katerina's rating of the film Dream

I need to rewatch this every time I get insomnia

  5. Tisa's rating of the film Dream

Sometimes comical; sometimes verging on freaky, Dream is quite an experience. May be true that this isn't Kim Ki Duk's best work, but in its own, it is a good watch. But, I also may be biased - casting Jo Odagiri sure is a good move!

  6. wko's rating of the film Dream

The story is grounded in dream logic and wanders through a few interesting ideas, but unfortunately, nothing feels deeply explored. By far, the least engaging of Kim Ki-Duk's work in my experience. However, the film is peppered with enough inventive moments to make it a worthwhile watch.
