  1. bryanvmh's rating of the film Eating Raoul

The principal from Rock N Roll high school, the alopecia sufferer from Arrested Development, and the screenwriter of The Graduate all get smooshed together. Munch munch munch

  2. Aardsy's rating of the film Eating Raoul

  3. James Mackin's rating of the film Eating Raoul

Very fun black comedy, Ed Begley Jr. as a bipolar hippie/vet is a beautiful treat. I need to experience more of the oeuvre of Paul Bartel.

  4. Shelley's rating of the film Eating Raoul

  5. Cinema Omnivore's rating of the film Eating Raoul

    6.9/10, my review: Paul Bartel

  6. Aaron Dillenbeck's rating of the film Eating Raoul

There is something here that is hard to pin down that makes this raunchy raucous of a movie so charming. It lies between the perfect quirky chemistry between the leads and the aloofness of the dialogue. Its between the sexual liberation of the early 80s and the color of the era. The likeability pulses and lives in your laughter. Clut cult cult. So funny!

  7. Ethan's rating of the film Eating Raoul

Paul Bartel and Mary Woronov made a great team in this comedy about sex and food.

  8. Wee Hunk's rating of the film Eating Raoul

This may be the peak of their collaborations. Raoul would go on to star in Star Trek: Voyager.

  9. Paolo Simeone's rating of the film Eating Raoul

Bartel and then you know you're going to get good stuff.

  10. yasdnil's rating of the film Eating Raoul

As a comedy, Eating Raoul is one of the best I've seen. The writing is so simple, and the aloofness and carelessness given off by the characters only adds to the brilliance. A lot of good bits of symbolism as well. Such a silly, charming movie.

Swingers beware! There's a couple squares louring people in with the promise of kinky sex, only to fall victim to death by frying pan! Then they're selling them to a hot blooded, emotional, crazy chicano to be turned into dog food! And it's hilarious! S&M, Cannibalism, Fetishism, Bribery, and Murder never tasted so good...

  16. Christofer Pierson's rating of the film Eating Raoul

  17. Adam Suraf's rating of the film Eating Raoul

For Hulu Plus subscribers this is currently streaming from the Criterion Collection in HD. Could a Blu-ray be in the distant future?

  18. mjgildea's rating of the film Eating Raoul

It would be easy and dismissive to call Eating Raoul a trashy and raunchy comedy that doubles as a social commentary. After watching it again its subtle and creeping genius became more apparent -- deafeningly so by the time the credits rolled.

  19. ARGIL's rating of the film Eating Raoul

I want to see it again. Weird and very funny! What ever happened to Mary Woronov?
