  3. Vincent Maël's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

  4. Slow Immersion [Joe]'s rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

Remove the dreadful soundtrack from Vivaldi, and you actually have a pretty decent work on water and light/dark, but a shame so many filmmakers bastardize their work with distracting soundtracks :(

  5. Disneyland Inferno's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

The still here is not from "Eaux D'Artifice", but "Rabbit's Moon".

  6. lawl's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

    The still's from Rabbit's Moon...

  7. CarlosEsquives's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

  8. Lynch/Fellini's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

Kenneth Anger's film is drenched in gorgeous blue gels and shadows... just wonderful!

  9. Harry Rossi's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

I was initially hesitant about this one, but those shots of water were just too damn beautiful...

  14. solar anus's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

This is actually loosely inspired by the Old Ocean segnent of "The Songs of Maldoror" by Lautréamont!

  15. Dale Wittig's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

One of Anger's most elegant and magical films, it is also one of his simplest. A very small woman in an elaborate eighteenth century gown wanders and runs through the grand gardens of Villa d'Este in Tivoli, past hundreds of fountains sparkling in the artificially lit night to the strains of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. It is a truly gay and haunting celebration of the liberation Anger temporarily found in old Europe.

  16. Richmond Hill's rating of the film Eaux d'artifice

A pleasant souffle. Simple but effective short film, high on pretty imagery, low on the usual Anger motifs.
