Ratings & Reviews

  1. Richmond Hill's rating of the film Edward the Seventh

A careful epic depicting Edward cradle to grave. History, in an admittedly wide panoply, is given due, if brief, coverage with key external events (any outside the regal drawing room that is) ticked-off with efficiency. It's 'small c' conservatism without gush or undue reverence - certainly no gratuitous sex as you'd find in the egregious The Tudors - in a style British TV produced liked shelled peas in the 1970s.
