Ratings & Reviews

  1. El Biffo's rating of the film Eight Hours Are Not a Day

The last thing I would have expected from R.W. Fassbinder- a sitcom. Though I understand that there were 3 more episodes that got canceled, and some of those weren't nearly as light-hearted. Perhaps that is why those episodes were cancelled (the series was made for TV). The 5 episodes made have none of the sadism or tragedy one would expect from Fassbinder. The most disturbing thing is Hanna Shygulla's awkward wig.

  2. Lucas Granero's rating of the film Eight Hours Are Not a Day

  3. Terry_Moby's rating of the film Eight Hours Are Not a Day

  4. mubianer's rating of the film Eight Hours Are Not a Day

Together we are strong. Fassbinder shows a different, lighter side that fits him well. Sort of a working class sit-com. With one of the great grandmothers in the history of cinema.
