One of the great Spanish films of the ’80s, this cool Madrilenian thriller from José Luis Garci doubles as a vibrant time capsule. Alfredo Landa left behind comedy for an unforgettable turn as the iconic detective Germán Areta in a film that opened Spanish cinema up to the shadowy wonders of noir.
