Ratings & Reviews

  1. Arthur Freitas's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

  2. moniquekidman's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

Not very daring or visually compelling, but it was never really meant to be. The lead performances are both nice, fairly nuanced portrayals of characters who often succumb to caricature, and the story is ridiculous and captivating enough to carry the film.

  3. Daniel Roque's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

Shannon entertains as "the King", but he's almost eclipsed by Spacey - who was born to play grumpy presidents of USA.

  4. bryanvmh's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

  5. Chris's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

kevin spacey and michael shannon make it entertaining enough, though i really couldn't care less about any other character...

  6. JCPJD's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

This is what it set out to be - an engaging television film and not something more. This reveals nothing about the Nixon white house that is new or interesting. It is a fairly original account of Elvis's personality around this time. Shannon and Spacey are good, but there isn't a lot to get their teeth into. It's an enjoyable ride that gently peters out inconsequentially.

  7. The Mayor Of Hell's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

Plesent. Shannon is odd ball choice for elvis but it works. Spacey is great. Which is nice after the hammyness of his Netflix show

  8. Droog811's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

Had some funny moments and some great acting from the leads...Spacey makes a better Nixon than Shannon is as Elvis though...a great opening credits sequence too...

  9. Stephane Tanaka's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

Original and funny. And great performances

  10. Jeremy Ashlyn's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

no soderbergh but in there somewhere

  14. Adam Whybray's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

It made me giggle and I've been in a head-space where I found the portrayal of corrupt, criminal figures as human beings comforting (and I'm not just talking about Elvis' relationship with Priscilla). P.S. I'm quite fond of Elvis.

  15. FCC 86's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

  16. Marco Pierrard's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

7/10 Avec des acteurs excellents, Liza Johnson nous fait revivre ce moment improbable de l'histoire des États-Unis, immortalisé par une photo restée gravée dans la mémoire de tous les Américains. 18. ‏ㅤ's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

58 minutes into this 87-minute movie...Elvis finally enters the same room as Nixon.

  19. cinegeek.de's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

  20. Steve Pulaski's rating of the film Elvis & Nixon

A profound, contemporary example of mannered acting by two seasoned performers (one still waiting for his long-delayed mainstream recognition) of two cultural icons that have their own cult of impersonators. Rarely do you see Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon portrayed with any kind of grace and subtly and that's what you get with "Shellfish & Neckskin," in addition to a loose-fitting, comfortable narrative.
