Sleazy scam artist Joan Collins tries to sell phony real estate deals down in the Florida everglades…
my main problem with this film was the sound design used for the giant ants, which seemed to be comprised of: sine-waves, a woodpecker, and human screaming.
The screaming (from the ants and the actors) was entertaining for sure but the feeble attempt at relationships/characterization was a bad idea. The "empire" part did arise until an hour into it.
I watched this movie 25 years ago. I still remember giant ants, phone booth and lot of sugar.
I feel pity for everyone involved.
"Not my favorite character!," said no one.
