Arnold Schwarzenegger is totally wrong for this movie as he fights Gabriel Byrne (who is better as The Devil) at the end of the millennium with his bare knuckles. This movie do have a memorable, disturbing threesome sex scene that becomes a twosome but this film takes itself too serious when it should have been more tongue in-cheek as the story is nonsense and the dialogue make my ears bleed.
The late 90's was a strange a time to be alive, as paranoia over the Y2K bug somehow manifested itself in a series of horror-thrillers about Satanic Panic. Even Arnold got in on the action, looking to rebound with something grim and decidedly R-rated after a string of family friendly misfires. The result proves modestly entertaining, if uninspired, with old pro Peter Hyams giving the film a workman-like sheen.
