In this unsettling and creepy thriller, Karen (Ilona Elkin), a young nurse who works in a psychiatric ward, boards the last subway train of the night only to have it stop suddenly in the middle of the tunnel.

Intense and twisted, religious-baiting midnight movie excess. End of the Line has many creepy scenes and is tautly shot and edited for maximum effect. Many of the jump scares even work well here, being both well timed and creatively done. The central concept of the movie and the horror scenes are freaky as hell, like an extreme version of 2007's The Mist. Has some acting/tonal hiccups, but it's tense.
Although spending lots of time on phony scenes, the film manages to make a wonderful ending, with a shocking twist (I actually stopped before being able to continue because it made me jump) and a beautiful last shot.
