Natalia Almada, MacArthur Genius Award winner, directed this character study emboldened by a stirring performance from Oscar®-nominated Adriana Barazza. Reminiscent of Chantal Akerman’s Jeanne Dielman, the film reveals deep bureaucratic power structures by focusing on the rhythms of daily life.
