  1. espiritu_de_sombra's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

Uno de los muy buenos films de acción del director Walter Hill, excelente reparto. El final muy bueno que ciertamente tiene esa pizca del clásico de western La Pandilla Salvaje, balazos por doquier.

  2. Federico Di Folco's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

  3. el.'s rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

3,5/5 a film that didn't quite follow a linear model in storytelling due to its presentation and integration of 'kind of' compatible plots. the script is far from being superb but with the overall theme, atmosphere and an awesome cast it makes a pretty decent action flick.

  4. S Campbell's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

Hills homage to Peckinpah is a rip roaring action flick of the old school with a granite like performance from Nolte and an Off the wall one from Boothe. very very underated .

  5. Ghostman's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

This is a seriously great film, Hill deserves more praise as a filmmaker.

  6. Scout Tafoya's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

And Nick Nolte as William Holden - maybe not his best performance, but it's definitely my favourite. Essential Walter Hill. Everyone is brilliant in this. Powers Boothe with the scorpion is both the movie, his own and Hill's appeal in a nutshell.

  7. Ryan Pearce's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

You know what? This might be my favourite film.

  8. Endre's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

It took a rewatch to see what a truly great piece of cinema this is. Hill's hawskian style and clear sense of character, action and ethics (and cinematic space) are in full vigor in these images filled by tradition and temperature. The best Hill have done?

  9. Greg S.'s rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

I'm not a Walter Hill fan but the standpoint of Andrew Sarris auteur qualifications I think this film makes a case for him. The production/narrative is pretty clunky but what's interesting is how the sheer masculinity of the characters explode the old west conventions the film is structured around into bloody oblivion. That madness is purely cinematic transcending anything confined by screenplay. Must see.

  10. Robert Karol's rating of the film Extreme Prejudice

Strangely bi-polar film that blends paranoid thriller with old-school western, yet works surprisingly well. An amazing cast including Nick Nolte, Powers Boothe, Rip Torn, Clancy Brown, Michael Ironside and William Forsythe, along with some well-choreographed set-pieces, make this an under-rated sleeper.
