Ratings & Reviews

  1. Jeff Heinzl's rating of the film Eyes

Taking place in Pittsburgh's Hill District, the film's evocation of white policing in a black neighborhood should be required viewing. It's a film of inter/action: the fierce laughter between the lines, heavy bellies over heavy belts. I remember the film as concluding on water, the out-of-doors the afterlife to red-and-blue water drops on speeding windows.

  2. Ricardo Andrade's rating of the film Eyes

Wiseman's "Law & Order" on crystal meth.

  3. José Neves's rating of the film Eyes

Particles in space: eyes, faces, hands, gestures, movements, focus / blur, objects, colors. More than a documentary about the procedures of an activity, this film is an assumption of a cinematic act, of its extraordinary occurrence.
