Good actors (although a few too many Hoffmanisms in Dustin's performance for my taste), good camera work...but the script is mediocre and the psychology of the characters is never really convincing. The music is mostly awful. A film you want to like but somehow it doesn't really work.
Family Business is about Family and Law enforcement, two major themes of the end of Sidney Lumet's brilliant career. What I liked the most in this film is the initial and the final travelling which lead us from the general to the particular and from the particular to the general. The rest is unfortunately already forgotten.
