What are people saying?

  • Nick Schwab's rating of the film Family Demons

Despite too many characters being vile, Family Demons is a sad and harrowing drama-cum-horror film about the tragic cycle of emotional detachment that substance abuse and family violence spreads through generations. Rough in terms that its style is as effective and beautiful as often as it's pedestrian, but it still has quite powerful scenes. It's also miles better than the quasi-similar, The Girl Next Door (2007.)
