While there's still plenty to like, season two suffers from a crisis of identity; the first season was perfectly relevant to the film without being dependent on it, but here, the show-runners have discarded its influence almost entirely. Starts strong, but was losing me by the end.
I personally preferred the first season, but this was still stellar. Kirsten Dunst and Ted Danson were the show-stealers here, Ted Danson's final scene in the last episode was the most beautiful ending to a very creepy story. Yeah, Fargo is arguably the best show on tv.
The same "Fargo", an all new bloodbath. Even if the Gerhardts never really stood a chance, it was still amazing watching this season unfold. The cast was specially great and the cinematography and 80's vibe were out-of-this-world (pun intended) cool. Bring on season 3!
