Ratings & Reviews

  1. Dan Kenneth Gigernes's rating of the film Fast Company

The racing sequences has a realistic feel and it's very believable as the film was produced where the action really takes place. John Saxon is perfectly cast as sleazy business head. This is probably the most straight-forward movie that David Cronenberg has directed and I find it sad that this film hasn't found a bigger audience as it is not that bad.

  2. FISCHER's rating of the film Fast Company

  3. Samuel Righi's rating of the film Fast Company

  4. Federico Di Folco's rating of the film Fast Company

  5. João Eça's rating of the film Fast Company

What seemed to be an ordinary B-flick is actually a sort of modern western (with an elegiac mood that reminds one of Peckinpah or Siegel) full of raw energy, masculin tension (which Cronenberg explores wonderfully through his mastery of body, camera and space relations) and a very Cronenbergian insistence on the functioning of machines (in this case, cars, the modern substitute of horses or cows).

  6. Samuel Andrade's rating of the film Fast Company

    ★★★ Cronenberg on low fuel.

  7. Christopher R. Smith's rating of the film Fast Company

A major departure from Cronenberg's early body-horror work. The script is pretty hackneyed and the music is dated to the point of camp; but it is well-shot by Cronenberg and the acting is better than you usually see in this kind of B-movie. Entertaining enough for what it is, but certainly one of Cronenberg's lesser efforts.

  8. Lars Ole Kristiansen's rating of the film Fast Company

Cronenbergs answer to Sirks "The Tarnished Angels", with drag racing. Wonderful set design and masterful use of primary colors by Mark Irwin, but the actors are bad and the story completely uninvolving. As expected, only for the die hard Cronenberg fan.

  9. Westley's rating of the film Fast Company

It's not bad for what it is. Definitely minor Cronenberg though.

  10. Matt's rating of the film Fast Company

The movie itself is so-so, but I like the picture they chose.

  11. VENIMOS LOS JODIMOS Y NOS FUIMOS's rating of the film Fast Company
